2 pm—Christmas Carols, Songs and Anthems


   Do you enjoy the music of the Christmas season but don’t get  much of an opportunity to sing out? Plan to join your neighbors in the Saddle River Valley, Rockland County, and members of the Saddle River Reformed Church as we present our second annual Community Christmas Carol Sing.

   Experience the joyful music of Christmastide as sung by the choir of the Old Stone Church, led by Director of Music, Rozanne Sullivan, featuring renowned soprano Justyna Giermola, and singer/guitarist Rebecca Abma. Audience members will join in the Christmas Carols.

 Children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Family Christmas Worship

   Join together with your whole family to sing Carols and hear the Christmas Story.  You will also hear about the real St. Nicholas and about the Gifts he brought to the children in the Netherlands and New Amsterdam… and he will have left some for your children and grandchildren as well.

Candlelight Communion Worship

   For over two centuries, families of the Saddle River Valley have welcomed Christmas Day in the early American sanctuary that would become known as the Old Stone Church.  Join in the carols. Listen to the choir under the direction of  Rozanne Sullivan. Hear the Good News brought to the world in the birth of Jesus.  The message by Pastor Robert W. Fretz is “Welcome Him.”  The Communion is open to all Christian traditions.
